Preventing Violence Through Advocacy

Protecting Kids and Pets Partnership is devoted to bringing a wide community of animal rights and advocacy groups together to continue the work she started in the Connecticut General Assembly by pursuing and supporting policies that recognize animal cruelty as a harbinger of future violence. Protecting Kids and Pets Partnership will also keep scorecards on how legislators vote on such laws. A key driver of PKPP’s mission is the fact that over 50% of school shooters started with animal cruelty.
